West Virginia’s Medical Cannabis Act - SB 386 - was approved on April 19th, 2017.** Though eligibility for medical cannabis has not currently been decided, West Virginia will begin creating a framework for how to apply for a medical card later this year, as the program does not become effective until 2019.
